LIBERTY Galați to maintain all preventive and protective measures for employees and contractors
LIBERTY Galați announces that it will be continuing to uphold all internal measures to prevent Covid-19 infection and protect employees and contractors from illness.
“The Government’s relaxing traffic restrictions is a measure we all have been waiting for so that we can travel in our spare time. However, the risks of community-based transmission of the virus still remain and will even increase as restrictions are being lifted. Therefore, we will keep the measures to protect the staff at work unchanged, in order to avoid, at any cost, the transmission of the virus inside the company”, stated Bogdan Grecu, Chief Executive Officer of LIBERTY Galati
The most important steps, many in place since February, consist of: the obligation to wear protective masks in the buses, at gates and wherever social distancing cannot be ensured; self-isolation of those who have been in contact with possibly infected people; regulating access to locker rooms and canteens; frequent disinfection and sanitation of workstations, common areas and means of transportation; prohibition of visitor access; delegations limitation; digitalization of processes and meetings as well as remote working where possible..
The Company will reinforce the compliance checks with these measures.
