LIBERTY Galati extends a hand to local teachers
On the first school day, LIBERTY Galati has donated tablets, echipped with internet acces cards, to the teachers in the county who until now had been able to use these essential educational tools to access online material.
His Holiness, Casian Crăciun, The ”Lower Danube” Archbishop, hosting the event, said: ”Here, at the Archbishopric, is a good omen for the new year school opening. The partnership we’ve concluded with the steel platform LIBERTY Galati shows the management understood the need to provide teaching materials to the teaching staff. The more they have the opportunity to address the children, the more they can access other materials to support the children with, the better the expected results”.
The donation took place with the assitance of the representatives of the County School Inspectorate which had conducted a survey among the teachers to identify their needs.
Bogdan Grecu, the C.E.O. of LIBERTY Galați, commented:
”Today, we mark a new stage in our collaboration with the ”Lower Danube” Archbishopry, a project started last year. This time, whereas there are organisations, inclduign the Government, already providing tablets to children, we address the teachers who will now be able to carry out their lectures online”.
