The Steel Plant Supports the New-Born Ward of Galati County Hospital
The Steel Plant announces the successful completion of a project of providing with the latest medical equipment to the neonatology department of “St. Apostol Andrei” Emergency Clinical Hospital of Galati.
The project consisted in replacing all the medical and electrical distribution systems serving the incubators for the newborn and the rooms of this ward. There have been installed 9 „ramps” for dispensing medical gases, energy and lighting, 14 aspiration sets and 14 oxygenators as well as other items. The total value of the project was about 180,000 lei.
The installation was performed in a record time so as to be operational with the entire ward modernization for the medical act to be resumed on time and in better conditions.
“We understood both the need for this investment and its urgency. We are glad that we have been able to help and keep our commitment to continue investing in the public health in Galaţi, “said Bogdan Grecu, CEO of the Steel Plant.
“We are delighted that our partners in the Plant have decided to join our efforts to modernize the County Hospital,” stated Costel Fotea, Chairman of Galati County Council.
“This work means increasing the quality of the medical act for the children born in our maternity hospital, as well as improving the working conditions for the physicians and the rest of the staff,” added Alina Dobrea, Director of Galati County Hospital.
The steel plant is also carrying out other medical equipment projects for this hospital.
