In October 2023, the LIBERTY Bolton Aerospace Service Centre achieved a notable milestone by successfully passing the BSI Environmental audit without any minor comments or areas for improvement. This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of the entire Bolton team and the Environmental Department support.

Just a reminder that ISO 14001 Environmental Management provides guidance on considering multiple aspects of your business, including procurement, storage, distribution, product development, manufacturing, and more, to reduce its impact on the environment. It also drives the evaluation of emergency response, customer expectations, stakeholders, and relationships with the local community. The audit covers a wide range of topics, referencing environmental streams, waste, energy, emergency planning, and training.

We have taken several measures to ensure this, including gaining a comprehensive understanding of the scope, organising documentation, maintaining records, reviewing internal controls, and upholding compliance with regulations.

Collaboration is an essential aspect of our organisation, whether in the Environmental, Health & Safety, Financial, etc. and I want to highlight that teamwork is a key component of our success across all functions here on site. And it helped us successfully pass this audit.
