LIBERTY has years of established relationships with the key manufacturers of commercial and off highway vehicles around the world. This understandably demanding market requires a complete service and a global approach from its suppliers, and LIBERTY is in an excellent position to deliver just that.
A solutions provider, rather than another component supplier, the Group has a range of testing and design services to complement its commercial vehicle products. These include aluminium castings; compressors; steerings and pumps; and braking systems for use on ambulances, recovery vehicles and light commercial vans.
Some of the more unusual products also supplied by LIBERTY to this sector include Unicone, an instantaneous, lever operated joint which is fast and easy to connect, and provides a firm leak-proof joint. The product is currently used on tankers carrying cement, flour, sugar, cereals, dry powders and other granular materials.
In addition, LIBERTY has a range of products dedicated specifically to the earthmoving sector of the commercial vehicles market. Among these are steel tubes, forgings, trailer flats, aluminium castings, park brake levers and pressings. Applications in the materials handling market range from steel tube to park brake levers.
