State Sales Manager (Sydney, NSW, AU)
About the role
The Sales Manager is responsible for the effective management of a team of Account Managers, Customer Service Teams and other demand generation resources and tools. The role maintains the efficacy and integrity of the sales management system through setting budgets, targets, lead and lag indicators and monitors performance ensuring regular feedback is given to all stakeholders.
The role is an expert in the sales management processes and can translate the positioning and go to market approach of the Steel Centre brand, to ensure a clear understanding by sales staff of where and how the business will compete and win in market. The role is accountable for an accurate sales forecast and delivering to agreed forecast volumes and makes recommendations on required changes to service and product offerings in line with market expectations and opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement a state sales growth strategy across all product lines into meaningful goals and ensure processes are in place to support the strategy

Provide leadership and coaching to the sales team to build internal capability, achieve sales targets and ensure the highest levels of customer service

Utilise CRM effectively to capture new business opportunities and maintain accurate monthly sales forecasts

Manage pricing agreements and debtor management, ensuring competitiveness in the market

Monitor local, state and broader Australian market and adjust strategies to address shortfalls and maximise opportunities

Understand, comply and coach the team to ensure engagement understanding and compliance with safety policies, guidelines and procedures
About your experience
You will be passionate and enthusiastic about the building industry and what InfraBuild has to offer in the market. Your previous experience and demonstrated success in a Sales leadership role will be highly advantageous to your success in this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A strong and successful sales background within the building or construction industry

Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in negotiating and securing deals

Sound IT skills and experience using a CRM
-
Ability to develop and implement tactical sales plans to deliver against business objectives

Track record of leading high performing teams with a focus on coaching
