As Chief Investment Officer, Sandip is responsible for delivering sustained commercial and investment performance, focusing on debt restructuring and transformation plans. He also leads GFG Alliance’s efforts to become carbon neutral by 2030 (CN30). In his role as CEO of LIBERTY Primary Steel Australia and India, Sandip drives profit and loss of the companies.

Prior to this, Sandip held senior positions in Tata Steel Limited including being board member of numerous subsidiaries and joint ventures of tata Steel around the globe. In 2019, he became Executive Director, a member of the board of Tata Steel Europe and Chairman of Tata Steel UK.
