Reinforcing Steel Scheduler (Rockhampton, QLD, AU)
About the role
We are looking for a Scheduler to based in Brisbane or any of our regional ARC branches in Queensland!
You will be supporting our supply of reinforcing steel to varied projects across multiple segments of the construction industry. You will interact directly with customers and internal departments, to determine customer needs and ensure accurate supply of reinforcing steel to projects of all sizes.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects.
- Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from reading structural and architectural drawings
- Work with customers to ensure drawings and production schedule meet customer needs
- Identify potential production or product solutions, and negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs
- Manage enquiries from customers regarding product status and delivery.

- Previous exposure to engineering or construction
- Passionate about building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- A self-motivated, proactive and resilient mindset
- Excellent time management and attention to detail skills to maintain customers delivery programs.
