Production and Transport Coordinator (Queanbeyan, NSW, AU)
About the role
ARC Queanbeyan are looking for a Production and Transport Coordinator!
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring of customer deliveries and requests to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction.
Customer time frames and maximum utilisation of vehicle capacity will be achieved though effective communication between varying departments and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate production and delivery schedules
- Alter delivery runs daily ensuring operational efficiency
- Provide detail of scheduling commitments at site production and planning meetings
- Plan and monitor delivery conditions and vehicle requirements
- Maintain up to date and accurate production reports
- Maintain necessary inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials
- Communicate any supply related issues
- Interacting with customers in planning and production work over the phone
- Always demonstrating a high commitment to safety
About your experience
We are looking for a customer focused, team orientated individual who is results driven and accountable.
You also have:
- A background in construction, manufacturing, or supply chain is highly regarded
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Customer Service experience and ability to build relationships across all stakeholder levels
- Experience with scheduling delivery sequences efficiently and safely
- A Safety First mindset as a core value
- MS Office experience
