About the role
We are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our maintenance & reliability team at Austube Mills Mayfield. You will have support and autonomy in managing breakdowns, preventative maintenance & reliability to achieve continuous improvement, for the manufacturing and distribution site. The operational team is process driven and highly safety focused, and we have fun whilst improving the site.
We have permanent roles on offer, working a lifestyle 12 hr shift roster Monday to Friday with up to 5 days off between shift rotations.
Above award wages & attractive allowances on top of hourly rate. Opportunity for overtime.
Duties include;
- Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum asset reliability.
- Attending plant and asset breakdown
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
- Perform trouble shooting and fault-finding tasks
- Providing feedback via the maintenance management system
- Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or amongst a team
- Involvement in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective actions.
About your experience
We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following;
- Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- Confident communicator who can work unsupervised
- Previous experience with production line & shutdown activities
- Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Heavy Industrial experience
- CMMS SAP Experience will be highly regarded
- Basic computer skills
