About the role
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at InfraBuild Wire in Newcastle within the REMS workshop.
You will have support and autonomy in managing the breakdown and preventative maintenance on site. This role offers stability, security and long-term career opportunities and genuine progression.
Day shift position in a 9 day fortnight providing work life balance.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preventative maintenance
- Breakdowns and troubleshooting issues
- Overhauling fixed plant or equipment
- Compliance with quality and safety processes
About your experience
We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate is essential
- Dogging and Forklift ticket desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ideally background in industrial manufacturing
- Experience in gearbox and workshop rebuilds highly regarded.
