Electrical Maintenance Planner (Bell Bay, TAS, AU)
About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, as the Electrical Maintenance Planner you’ll work alongside four other planners.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate efficient shutdown activities and prioritise maintenance tasks based on labour availability and operational requirements.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive decision-making and continuously improve maintenance processes.
- Provide technical support to identify and resolve equipment problems, updating and maintaining critical safety equipment records.
- Assist in long-term maintenance planning, including resource identification and developing preventative maintenance tasks and procedures.
About your experience
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork and effective stakeholder communication.
Essential qualifications and attributes include:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance planning, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings, with comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Strong organisational and time management skills demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making, supported by experience using maintenance planning software and tools.
- Prior experience as an electrician or instrument technician.
- Preferably, exposure to high voltage systems and familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
