Liberty Powder Metals continues to expand its team with the appointment of Dermot Desmond to the senior management team as Commercial and Business Development Manager

General Manager Liberty Powder Metals Simon Pike: “I am very pleased to welcome Dermot Desmond to the LPM team as Commercial and Business Development Manager. His wealth and breadth of experience will be invaluable to Liberty Powder Metals as we near the conclusion of the commissioning phase for our new state-of-the-art gas atomiser and commence operations to serve our customers with metals powders for Additive Manufacturing (AM) and PM-HIP over the coming weeks.”

Dermot brings a depth of sales and business development experience across a broad range of engineering and technology industry sectors and most recently, with Carpenter-LPW, where he had been developing sales opportunities and a JV arrangement in Japan for the Additive Manufacturing (AM) sector.

Liberty Powder Metals provides a comprehensive range of metal powders and alloys that undergo extensive processing, testing and characterisation at our facility in Teesside including aluminium and titanium, complemented by a full range of steels, nickel super alloys and cobalt chromes that are atomised on our state-of-the-art gas atomiser utilising anti-satellite technology resulting in highly spherical morphology that delivers excellent flowability and packing density.
