Operator (Queanbeyan, ACT, AU)
About the role
The Australian Reinforcing Company – ARC have an exciting new Operator role available in our Queanbeyan branch.
You will play a critical part of a small but highly successful Operations team who manufacture and distribute steel. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your Operations career or gain exposure to the steel industry with the support of a global company.
The role is permanent, full time day shift (5am – 1pm) + Overtime.
Key duties:
- Operate steel bender and cutter machines for bar, steel, and mesh products
- Operate overhead gantry crane and forklift
- Storeperson pick & packing and loading trucks
- Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
About your experience
You are someone who values teamwork, safety and continuous improvement and has a strong desire to succeed.
- Experienced Operator/Storeperson or someone willing to learn
- Manufacturing, logistics or construction industry experience ideal
- Forklift licence and crane experience are preferred however not essential
