About the role
You will have support and autonomy in a dynamic role with variety of work throughout your day and a wealth of knowledge from an experienced team. Responsible for managing breakdowns, preventative maintenance and improvement for the manufacturing and distribution site. The operational team is highly safety focused and process driven, and we have fun whilst improving the site. This is a day-shift position.
Duties include;
- Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises.
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Providing feedback via the maintenance management system
- Liaison with other trades in the workshop
- Completion all tasks safely and to a high quality.
About your experience
We would love to hear from reliable and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification and ideally a background in Heavy Industry
- Possess exceptional fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- Confident communicator who can work unsupervised and ability to problem solve
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Proficient computer skills and experience with SAP will be highly regarded
- Previous experience with shutdown activity
