International Women in Engineering Day
INVENTORS & INNOVATORS
Meet Elisabetta Fattorini, Process Engineer from LIBERTY Magona
Elisabetta has always had a passion for science and a curiosity for everything around her, so a career in engineering was an obvious choice. She was excited about the professional opportunities that would be available to her and the job security the industry would provide.
Elisabetta loves the fact she gets to work with many other teammates in her role, as collaboration is a big part of her job. Working with others allows her to develop her skills and abilities as she learns from her colleagues.
Understanding that switching off and recharging your batteries is just as important to maintaining a healthy work-life, outside of work, Elisabetta dedicates herself to her family.
To future generations in engineering, Elisabetta thinks that women have a lot to offer the industry and should not be discouraged from a career in steel. She says, ‘Pursue your goals and the opportunities are endless.’
