Hot-rolled wide strips

Liberty Ostrava a.s. has extended the supply of hot-rolled coiled strips manufactured of structural steel grades S235JR, S235JRG2, S235J0, S235J2G3 a S235J2G4 by strips of thickness between 13.0 and 15.0 mm and width between 980 and 1550 mm. Coils are supplied with natural edge only. Specific coil weight ranges from18 to 21 kg/mm of strip width. Max. coil weight is 33.0 t. The strips supplied are within dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape according to ČSN EN 10051+A1:2000 “Sheet metal and strips of unalloyed and alloyed continuously hot-rolled steel without coating – Dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape“.

Supplies of strips of up to 15 mm thickness of steel grades S235JR and S235JRG2 and of 235 MPa strength have no limitations. Supplies of steel grades S235J0, S235J2G3 a S235J2G4 have to be discussed with the manufacturing plant as the properties of coils of up to 15 mm thickness are being gradually developed and attested.

Hot-rolled sheet metal

Liberty Ostrava a.s. has extended the supply of hot-rolled sheet metal of structure steel grades S235JR, S235 JRG2, S235J0, S235J2G3 and S235J2G4 by sheet metal of thickness between 13.0 and 15.0 mm in standard widths 1000, 1250 and 1500 mm and non-standard width between 980 and 1550 mm and of length between 1.0 m and 12.0 m. Sheet metal is supplied with natural edge only.
The sheet metal supplied is within dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape according to ČSN EN 10051+A1:2000 “Sheet metal and strips of unalloyed and alloyed continuously hot-rolled steel without coating – Dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape“.

Supplies of sheet metal up to 15 mm thickness of steel grades S235JR and S235JRG2 and of 235 MPa strength have no limitations. In 2004 Liberty Ostrava a.s. extended the supply of hot-rolled coiled strips by hot-rolled wide strips of steel with increased resistance to atmospheric corrosion in grades S235J0W, S235J2W, S355J0W, S355J0WP and S355J2WP of thickness between 3.0 and 13.0 mm (other thicknesses are manufactured upon agreement) and of width between 980 and 1550 mm. (Some producers refer to these types of steel as “Corten“ or “Atmofix“.) Coils are supplied with natural edge only. Specific coil weight ranges from 18 to 21 kg/mm of strip width. Max. coil weight is 33.0 t. The strips supplied are within dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape according to ČSN EN 10051+A1:2000 “Sheet metal and strips of unalloyed and alloyed continuously hot-rolled steel without coating – Dimension limit deviations and tolerances of shape“.

(Some producers refer to these types of steel as “Corten“ or “Atmofix“.) Sheet metal of these types of steel is supplied with natural or cut edges.
