International Women's Day
#BreaktheBias
The industry is changing quickly as it gets serious about the environmental impact of producing steel and aluminium, and focuses on a sustainable future. With that change comes the opportunity for women to break the bias in a traditionally male dominated business and assume roles in all areas of the manufacturing process.
We talk to some of the women working within LIBERTY and ALVANCE and hear about their roles in our sustainable growth story, from a Chemical Engineer to an Operations Manager, and a Lab Technician to a Loco Driver.
They reveal what is important to them and why they have chosen careers at LIBERTY and ALVANCE and we find out about their skills, their passion, and their successes. Read the stories below as we recognise and celebrate our female colleagues in their frontline roles on International Women’s Day. #BreakTheBias
