LIBERTY Steel opens sales offices in Poland and Germany
LIBERTY Steel Continental Europe, which recently acquired seven other major steelworks and five service centres across seven European countries from ArcelorMittal, has opened sales offices in Katowice and Düsseldorf.
The new offices will manage the company’s sales and marketing approach to key customers in Poland and Germany. They are an important first step in the company´s plan to build an independent and strong sales network across Europe, strengthening Liberty’s footprint in its key Central European markets and enhancing its capability to service its growing customer base across Europe. The Düsseldorf office will be Liberty’s second in the city, with the other supporting its UK steel business.
VB Garg, Sales & Marketing Director for LIBERTY Steel Continental Europe, said: “The opening of these new sales offices is an important statement of intent following the change of ownership. We have now set up an experienced commercial team, which will be responsible for managing customer relationships and growing our business in these crucial markets.”
