LIBERTY Steel Group has appointed Oleksandr Ivanov the new Executive Director of LIBERTY Ostrava. Oleksandr, who will report the Board of Directors of LIBERTY Ostrava, will take on the most senior management role at the plant with immediate effect.

Oleksandr has a wealth of experience in the steel sector having had twenty years in senior positions within the industry, managing various operations as well as most recently serving as COO of Ukraine’s largest integrated steel mill at Kryvyi Rih. Oleksandr has an Engineer Degree in industrial heat and power engineering.

Paramjit Kahlon, CEO Primary Steel and Integrated Mining of LIBERTY Steel Group, said: “I am very happy to appoint Oleksandr to this important role as, having worked with him before, I know he will provide the strong leadership required to develop the LIBERTY Ostrava business further.
