LIBERTY Ostrava kicks-off an on-site vaccination against Covid-19
LIBERTY Ostrava in conjunction with the mobile vaccination team of Karviná-Ráj hospital started vaccination against Covid-19 on its premises today. The vaccination is intended for all employees above 30 years in line with the government regulations on vaccination availability.
The first phase will take place at the company headquarter canteen in two terms. So far, 150 employees have signed up. The vaccination is conducted by the mobile team including a physician of Karviná-Ráj hospital. The mill has made an agreement with the hospital representatives with a help of the regional vaccination coordinator Pavel Rydrych: ”The Moravian-Silesian region is one of the fastest vaccinating regions in the Czech Republic, our vaccination spots can meet demand from people interested in vaccination within days. That was a milestone for us to begin vaccination of the biggest employers in our region where we register a high concentration of people interested in vaccination.”
The vaccination conducted right on the company’s premises is one of the benefits which the mill offers to its employees as part of the above-standard medical care. „The above standard medical care goes hand in hand with heavy industry everywhere in the advanced countries. We have been providing it to our employees here for 70 years since establishment of the mill,“ said Director for HR and Legal Affairs Jaroslav Vystrk.
The employee medical care features among others vitamin packages, fitness spa programs, rehabs or lectures on healthy lifestyle and mental health. LIBERTY Ostrava also holds annual Health days for its employees.
