About the Dunaújváros steelworks
LIBERTY Dunaújváros is the largest steel producer in Hungary.
We have a proud tradition of producing steel at our plant since 1954, when our blast furnaces started for the first time.
Our business was acquired by LIBERTY Steel Group on 20 October 2023.
We have the ambition to be producing carbon neutral GREENSTEEL by 2030.
