Liberty Czestochowa at the Jurassic Economic Congress

Liberty Czestochowa Sp. z o.o. was one of the sponsors of the Jurassic Economic Congress, which took place on November 4th in Czestochowa.

During the congress, over 120 representatives of companies, organisations and local governments from Czêstochowa and surrounding areas met in the Arche hotel in Czêstochowa to discuss the current economic situation in the region, business problems and changes in the labour market. It was the fourth edition of the congress organised by the Częstochowa City Hall and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the debate “Czestochowa – now a better job and not only”, with the participation of the Mayor Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk and a representative of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, participated also Sławomir Margas, head of the HR department of Liberty Czestochowa Sp. z o.o.

“We are a multi-generational company, and the bond between the employees and the steelworks is a great value for us” he said. He stressed that despite the problems and changes in ownership at Huta in the last two years, we have managed to maintain an almost complete staff: ” Every difficult situation fosters the strengthening of relationships between people, both in the family and at work. Now, as Liberty Częstochowa, we are rebuilding our position, and the employees have hope for a better future.”

During the congress Liberty Częstochowa Sp. z o.o. was also represented by Marcin Szcześniewski and Robert Gierliński from the Sales Department, and Katarzyna Balsam-Szeląg from the Human Resources Department. Discussions focused on the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic for companies and the economy in the region.

The Jurajski Economic Congress was accompanied by Employer Branding workshops, and at the end there was a gala during which the Jurajski Produkt Roku 2021 awards were presented.
