Liberty Skopje is part of the dual education program, we offer the opportunity to learn on the job in order to acquire technical and specific skills as a great benefit for the students and the company. Dual education is a system in which internships in a company are combined with school hours in a vocational school. This is of great importance because such a combination contributes to the development of high quality practical skills.

Accordingly, this process has a significant impact on increasing students’ employment opportunities, but more importantly, it facilitates students’ path to decent and fast employment.

About the program

The double educational program for the first time was started in SETU “Mihajlo Pupin” Skopje in 2017. Liberty and Mihailo Pupin signed a memorandum of cooperation. The model for dual education includes, in addition to the three-year education in the direction of Electrician – electrician, and the four-year educational profile for Electrician – power engineer.

Working tasks

Practical training for students is directly at the workplace in Liberty’s premises, with appropriate conditions provided – working environment, equipment and machines, in order to acquire appropriate skills and competencies and after completing secondary vocational education, they are easily employable as professional staff .

Ongoing mentoring

The implementation of practical education at Liberty is led by mentors. Certified experienced Liberty employees mentor students and introduce them to real-world scenarios and challenges. The active involvement of students in practical activities during all high school years allows students to master professional challenges after being employed in the Company.

This program actually demonstrates how business can be involved in the educational process to create highly qualified personnel that the labor market needs.
