Stepping Together this March
With the worst of the winter weather behind us, some of you may be feeling the urge to kick off the cobwebs and get outside! Because of the pandemic the limitations on leisure activities have meant many of us have slipped into a sedentary lifestyle, which if not tackled, may have an impact on our health and wellbeing.
To combat this I’m issuing a challenge – to get out there and walk, jog or run your way to better health and wellbeing!
Our physical and mental health are often linked. Studies show any type of exercise can have a positive impact in how you feel, and lift your mood significantly.
Compete against your colleagues
While social distancing means we can’t meet up together, we can still share our experiences together.
That’s why for this challenge I’d like you to create virtual teams and track your steps together throughout March. You may not be able to walk together, but you can share the experience digitally, plan routes together, track your progress, and compete against other teams in the LIBERTY Steel UK Family.
The team with the most improvement will win a £250 donation to a charity of their choosing!
