About the role

You will work with a close-knit and supportive team. The team is highly safety and customer focused and work together collaboratively to achieve great work outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of scrap metal to and from our large and loyal customer sites as well as internal branches.

About your experience

You will hold a Heavy Rigid Open Licence and promote safety while exceeding customer expectations. You are naturally organised and a self-motivated individual. You will be open to operating in a diverse team environment, and also possess the skill set to self-manage.

In addition, the following would be desirable: 

• Knowledge of Southeast Queensland Region
• Hook and/or skip bin experience
• Scrap metal knowledge
• HC Open Licence (capability and experience in towing a dog trailer)

Role Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm. Afternoon shift opportunity 12pm – 8pm. Overtime is available however not guaranteed.
