Transport Coordinator (Revesby, NSW, AU)

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Transport Coordinator to come on board with our close-knit team.  This role will assist daily operations through planning, coordinating scheduling deliveries and transport to suit the site production plan.  You will be an essential point of contact for our customers, schedulers and our operations team where you will deliver on critical outcomes each day. You will also assist with Customer Sales and Service duties as required by the Branch business requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor the completed production orders
  • Confirm deliveries with site personnel prior to printing of work, to ensure that production is commenced when it is required by customer
  • Maintaining critical date changes with the customer 
  • Alter delivery runs daily ensuring operational efficiency without compromising customers delivery requirements
  • Ensure all drawings & documents accompany deliveries if required
  • Work with Operations Supervisors/Team Leaders/Operators towards meeting Delivery in Full on Time 
  • Direct interaction with customers for sales enquiries and orders.
  • Communicate production setbacks and their potential impacts to Customers and sales teams 

About your experience

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about the building industry and what ARC has to offer in the market.  Your previous experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous to your success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • A proactive approach to ensuring delivery efficiency is maximised and deadlines are met
  • A confident phone manner
  • Customer Service experience
  • SAP, Symix, ARMA or PlanX experience or knowledge is highly regarded
  • An understanding or background in construction, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Experience with basic MS office suite
  • Scheduling experience highly regarded but not essential
