Supply Chain Coordinator (Coopers Plains, QLD, AU)

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator contributes to the success of the overall business by implementing the supply chain strategies in QLD by working closely with the cross-functional teams with key accountability for:

  • Supporting the business in delivering customer service levels that provide a competitive advantage in terms of customer service and stock availability 
  • Lowering the total delivered cost of materials through the effective management of demand and supply, freight, and handling costs
  • Managing the above items within the working capital requirements of the business. Due to the integrated value chain within InfraBuild, these working capital commitments may vary by product group

In performing the above, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be required to:

  • engage locations and build relationships that promote open feedback to improve the inventory position of the location(s)
  • lead location(s) in terms of inventory capability & development
  • manage and maintain inventory settings in SAP (APO and ECC) to drive the optimal inventory outcomes
  • support location(s) range reviews and stocktakes to assist in achieving the lowest cost supply chain
  • prioritise and time manage competing core responsibilities

About your experience

We seek a proactive, customer-focused Supply Chain professional with outstanding problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Our ideal candidate will be a highly organised team player with exemplary attention to detail. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain management and inventory analytics/Supply planner role across various sites/warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including logistics, inventory management, and procurement and supplier Relationship management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Own vehicle and full driver’s license
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proven experience in KPI management
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, SAP APO and or S4 IBP planning systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
  • High level of Microsoft Office capability (incl. MS Excel, Word, Access)
  • Knowledge of the Steel Industry and Products- Advantageous.
  • SC qualification- Desirable
  • APICS certificate- Advantageous
  • Proven experience in project management – Advantageous
