The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will use their technical expertise to analyse and optimise equipment performance
About the role The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will use their technical expertise to analyse and optimise equipment performance. You will be investigating equipment reliability issues to root cause and implements corrective actions while scoping and implementing small value CAPEX projects and take POR role on larger projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Mechanical department, drive reliability improvement for the plants.
- Managing maintenance and capital projects.
- Managing Mechanical based improvement projects.
- Supporting and supervision for Maintenance Shutdown tasks
- Supporting the Maintenance Dept during extended absences of colleagues or Maintenance Superintendent
About your experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experienced in maintenance management systems.
- Heavy manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Budgetary/Project management experience
- Proven track record in problem solving and equipment diagnostics
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- SAP maintenance systems & Microsoft expertise
