Production Supervisor (Revesby, NSW, AU)
About the role
The Production Supervisor will be based at our Revesby site where they manage a large production team. The role is primarily operational with responsibility for the day-to-day manufacturing and logistics operations of the Afternoon shift.
They will lead and coordinate the operational activities of the shift including operators to maintain continuity of production, sustain the drive for operational excellence and quality of work while promoting a safe workplace.
Hours of work will be primarily 2pm- 10pm, Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Over see a large team (Operators and trades people)
- Communicate safety related information to team members
- Check equipment is fit for use
- Liaison with other department e.g., Operations, management, and other key stakeholders
- Oversee training coordination and compliance
About your experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Heavy industry and manufacturing experience
- Previous experience supervising a team
- Previous experience in championing and implementing safety awareness and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using an ERP system (ideal)
