Organisational Development Specialist – InfraBuild (Sydney, NSW, AU)
About the role
As the OD Specialist, you are an OD SME and will report to the Head of Organisational Development, working with other team members, HR Business Partners and business leaders, to contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of OD initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Partnering with senior executives, business leaders, HRLT and their teams to operationalise and embed key OD initiatives and projects to enable business goals.

Sourcing, developing and managing OD programs that support the delivery of HR outcomes across Australia.

Proactively identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring the impact of OD initiatives are sustainable.

Enhancing organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation.

Supporting the achievement of outcomes defined by the agreed InfraBuild People Plan.

Partnering with the HRLT and their teams to accelerate and/or augment HR-led initiatives.

Continuing to operationalise and improve the performance approach and processes to drive a high-performance culture.

Provision of accurate succession data & insights to inform future people decisions through meaningful talent conversations.

Project managing the annual engagement survey and associated continuous improvement.

Implementing development planning initiatives to support business needs as required.

Partnering with the L&D Specialist to support leadership development outcomes where appropriate.

Highlighting potential opportunities for impact on key business objectives.

Actively maintaining relationships with peers and industry experts to keep abreast of L&OD industry trends to ensure our people practices remain competitive and relevant
About your experience
You are an SME in Organisational Development, passionate about continuous improvement, a highly engaged and collaborative team player with strong consulting, analytical, and commercial acumen.
Your ability to build and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders from senior management to teams on site, is proof of your excellent communication and influencing skills.
Ideally you will also have:

Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. Bachelors in HR/Org. Psych./Business/Commerce.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an in-house and consulting or professional services environment.

Demonstrated experience of working with blue and white collar roles.

A history of success in project managing OD initiatives and improvements.

Implemented talent and succession planning processes.

Proven track record of leading and operationalising initiatives that drive business results.

Experience in applying OD theory with a proven track record of implementing leading approaches, ideally in industrial, construction, mining or resources sectors.

Strong technical expertise in project leadership, change management and OD areas.
