Operator (Meadowbrook, QLD, AU)
About the role
ARC is looking for a new team member to join our Meadowbrook branch as an Operator where you will be bending and cutting bar, steel and mesh products for our customers orders!
You’ll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution. It also opens doors for career progression and development opportunities.
The shifts for this role will rotate however you will need the availability to work 5am to 4pm.
As a key member of the team you will:
- Operate bending and cutting machinery for bar, steel, and mesh products
- Operate an overhead crane and forklift
- Accurately pick and pack orders
- Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
- Promote and contribute to a safe workplace
About your experience
To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires attention to detail and time management skills to meet KPIs.
We are looking for a new team member that has:
- Willing to learn new skills and have a can-do attitude
- A safety focused mindset
- Thrives in a team environment
- Background in steel, manufacturing and construction industries
- Forklift license and experience
- Crane ticket and experience (not essential)
