Operations Improvement Lead (Glendenning, NSW, AU)

About the role

Exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement leader with strong leadership skills and operational background, to be based in Glendenning. You will support NSW operations and have counterparts inter-state as part of a national team. You will be an integral part of shaping the future of the organization where no two days are ever the same.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead NSW projects and contribute to the national CI strategy related to CAPEX, Maintenance, Business process standardization and Australian standards.
  • Coach and mentor Operational Leaders across NSW
  • Engage with the NSW lead team to assess CI opportunities for improvements at each site.
  • Champion strong safety behaviours

About your experience

You will be a strategic leader with an innovative mindset, problem-solving and effective communication skills.  You will gain exposure to state-wide and national projects, in an autonomous leadership role, and have an immediate project portfolio. The business provides a stable, innovative and diverse environment, with excellent career progression opportunities.

 

You also have:

  • Continuous Improvement and Operations/Engineering management leadership experience
  • Manufacturing industry background
  • Proven influencing and leadership capabilities.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree desirable
  • Safety as a core value
