About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Galvanised Products maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Mayfield. The operational team is highly safety focused and process driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers permanent and stable employment, predominantly on day shift with requirement for shift work as per business needs.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance
• Breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting issues
• Overhauling fixed plant or equipment
• Providing feedback via the maintenance management system 
• Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks to high standard
• Working on shift as required.

About your experience

We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:

• Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate is essential
• Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment
• Additional trades training and/or experience with hydraulics and pneumatics or welding
• SAP exposure
• Strong focus on safety and initiative with a can-do attitude
• Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with a proactive approach
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• A background in heavy manufacturing or mining is desirable
• Forklift, HR and EWP tickets would be highly regarded
