Master Data Specialist (Newcastle, NSW, AU)

About the role

The System Support Specialist role touches all aspects of the execution of our market offer, including the setup of a new customer and delivery location, setting pricing conditions on order and invoice, barcoding to bundle product labels and processing financial changes to a customer account or order.

Other responsibilities include:
 

  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure our market offers are correctly aligned to SAP & associated systems.

  • Act as key interface between the customer service teams and the customer for the execution of claims including the ongoing investigation of their causes as to make the business more efficient and proactive.

  • Work proactively within the Systems Effectiveness Team to improve business processes and in doing so, the customer’s experience.

  • Accurately apply and administer each component of the promises we make to our customers.

  • Exhibit behaviors demonstrating Customer Service & Fulfilment and overall business strategy including the core values of Family, Sustainability and Change

About your experience

The ideal candidate will have:
 

  • Extensive experience in a similar role

  • Tertiary certification in Business Administration, Accounts Administration or similar would be desirable

  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, i.e., Excel and other software packages

  • Experience using the SAP transactional system.

  • Able to embrace change, make recommendations, and contribute to the development of new processes and systems.

  • Able to problem solve by asking questions and probing data through reconciliations.

  • Passion for exceptional customer service and delivering value to Customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand & analyse data to make recommendations.

InfraBuild’s Steel Manufacturing business unit operates world-class state-of-the-art Steelmaking facilities in Sydney, Newcastle & Melbourne. Operating two electric arc furnaces and four rod and bar rolling mills we use local materials to produce high quality steel products.
