About the role

The prime responsibility of this key role is to provide outstanding customer service to a niche group of predominantly mining focused manufacturing customers of InfraBuild Steel. The successful candidate will execute this role through building deep relationships with our customers and key operational, planning and supply chain functions within our business.

This is an office-based role which oversees the order management and fulfilment processes for both domestic and international customers. This role acts as an interface between our customers and InfraBuild stakeholders involved in the order fulfilment process. As such you will be resolving complex enquiries, managing orders and gathering market intelligence. You will also be required to intimately understand your customers’ needs and requirements, in order to anticipate and resolve issues, and ensure we provide a seamless customer experience.

Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, you will also be required to support the broader customer service and commercial teams. You will have a strong functional relationship with the Market Manager, Manufacturing and Resources.

This role provides the opportunity to interact with higher level stakeholders as you identify and oversee the execution of improvements to order management, supply chain processes and overall delivery performance.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service outcomes and will have a proactive and process driven approach. Strong communication and engagement skills will be necessary to build and maintain your customer and internal stakeholder relationships. Experience in customer-facing roles will be an advantage, as will experience in complex supply chains and SAP. There is an occasional domestic travel requirement for this role.
