About the role

Reporting to the HR Superintendent, we seek a HR Advisor to provide advisory and transactional support to our Liberty Bell Bay operations. Responsibilities include:

• Building and nurturing strong relationships across the business.
• Collaborating closely with leaders to offer HR advice and solutions.
• Identifying and executing change management initiatives that enhance organisational value.
• Providing operational Employee Relations (ER) support and guidance to the leadership team.
• Coordinating and managing the resolution of workplace issues.
• Supporting cyclical HR activities, including workforce planning, performance assessments, and remuneration cycles.

You thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment and are comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills, which complement your ability to form trusted working relationships at all employee levels, while also being self-managing and accountable. 

To excel in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in Human Resources and a tertiary qualification in HR (Ideal).
• The ability to elevate capabilities across the business through a coaching mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), with SAP and Success Factors experience highly regarded.
• The ability to translate HR data into value-added initiatives.
• Preferred experience within a heavy industry environment.
• Desired skills in Employee Relations (ER) and HR within a unionised setting.
