GFG Foundation Coordinator (Sydney, NSW, AU)
About the role
In this exciting role you will be a key contributor to the GFG Foundation which is a registered charitable organisation operating in Australia and Globally. This role will see you fostering growth in our STEM based educational program with a strong emphasis on community engagement.
Alongside the global GFG Foundation Team, you will be working closely with our education partners; CSIRO, Princes Trust Australia and various schools / community groups nationwide to assist with the expansion of our programme.
This is a varied role that combines Business Development, Events Management, Training & Development and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Developing and building relationships with current and new stakeholders

Identifying opportunities to develop the programme and bring awareness to the opportunities existing in the ever-changing industrial world

Engaging with schools and community groups to discuss the GFG Foundation and the professional opportunities it creates

Establish and grow an Alumni network
-
Organisation of key events across the GFG Foundation

Communicating with applicants, and stakeholders regarding the GFG Foundation
-
Interstate travel required
About your experience
You will be a strong advocate for STEM based educational programmes with enthusiasm and the willingness to dive right in. We are looking for someone willing to take the next step in their personal development, whilst working alongside the business to maximise visibility and partnership opportunities.

About our team
The GFG Foundation in Australia was established in 2019 with the launch of the Pilot Student Programme in Whyalla. Following the success of the pilot, we welcomed onboard our key strategic partners, CSIRO and Prince’s Trust Australia. These partnerships have enabled us to expand to other key markets around Australia.
We currently run programmes in South Australia (Whyalla), NSW (Newcastle & Tahmoor) and Tasmania (Georgetown) with plans to expand to all States.
Alongside the creation, management and expansion of the Student Programme, the GFG Foundation also supports other key community initiatives.
