About the role

You will join a committed team known for their innovative steel solutions. You will be a reliable and safety focused Electrical Tradesperson, reporting to the Electrical Maintenance supervisor where you will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant availability and safe operation of equipment at Acacia Ridge. Starting on a day shift, working a 38-hour week.

Key duties:

• Complete assigned repair and preventative maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with production teams daily to understand the rolling schedule, production overtime and available maintenance windows. 
• Maintain all work areas in a safe and tidy state.
• Fully supporting front-line problem-solving investigations and initiatives

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Experience with using PLCs for fault finding
• Industrial Electronics certificate advantageous 
• Experience troubleshooting electrical breakdowns and determining roots causes in a heavy industry environment.
• Ability to apply sound judgement and manage competing deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and computer aptitude
• Keen to join a collaborative and safety focused team.
