Document Controller (Whyalla, SA, AU)

About the role

As the Document Controller you will be responsible for executing protocols of the document management processes for all users within the team. This includes mandatory project processes and behaviours with regards to documents and data supplied by internal and external parties and how that data is identified, received, registered, reviewed, approved and stored. Also provides administrative and organisational support to the Project leadership team, together with other key stakeholders, to enable them to efficiently execute their roles in addition to overall management of the project.
 

Some duties include:

  • Provide clerical, administrative and general office support to the Project team
  • Produce a variety of correspondence and reports using the appropriate software
  • Arrange travel as required for the Project Managers and other team members as required
  • Manage credit cards and associated systems
  • Effective assist with the coordination of visits from Vendor Representatives
  • Ensure the storage of documents is managed in a structured, consistent and reliable manner
  • Maintain a central, structured repository for storage of project documents and records relevant to the program of works using SharePoint and Principal systems
  • Ensure the project participants can efficiently and effectively retrieve accurate, current and relevant information
  • Ensure an accurate and complete archive and of project deliverables, records and information is received in handover, at the end of the project

About your experience

We are looking to speak to people who can demonstrate the following:
 

  • Document control and/or records management experience in project or engineering environment 
  • Quality management experience in engineering environment 
  • Demonstrates commitment to HSE
  • Competent in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio
  • Competent in Adobe Acrobat including PDF Reader, PDF Converter and Digital Signatures
  • Competent in plotting, printing and scanning systems
  • Competent in SharePoint & PowerBI environments (Project Document Control systems experience ie. Bynder, ACONEX etc.)
