About the role

Due to internal promotions, ARC are seeking two experienced Despatch Officers to join our Hemmant branch.

As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the interface between production and distribution. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established group offering professional development, career growth and a supportive work environment.

2 x Permanent full-time vacancies available.
Working hours: 5am to 1pm OR 8:30am to 4pm
 

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the despatch of up to 100+ Tonnes of Steel products per day
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Production Planners, Schedulers, Operations and Sales to coordinate despatch requirements
• Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure pickups and deliveries are completed as scheduled
• Ensure loading dockets for Operations team are distributed on time
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service

• Prior experience in a transport or manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of load requirements and restraints
• A safety-first mindset
• A confident and professional approach to problem solving
• Proven ability to multitask efficiently
