About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid role as a Customer Service Officer/Operator at our ARC Traralgon Branch. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the customer service and internal sales function of the branch in addition to supporting on the operational floor preparing loads, loading trucks and undertaking warehouse duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Customer enquiries and sales, over the phone, email and at the front counter
• Sales data entry, general invoicing, administration, purchasing and inventory control
• Coordinating logistics – transport and deliveries
• Storeperson duties: picking and packing, loading and unloading
• Operating bending and cutting machinery
• Operation of overhead crane to load and unload fleet and customer vehicles
• Championing safety procedures to the highest standard

This role is rostered Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 4 pm.
 

About your experience

We are looking for someone who is customer service focused, has high attention to detail and thrives working in a fast-paced friendly environment. 

You will also have:

• Experience in a similar phone-based customer service role 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An individual who is solutions-focused and who seeks to take ownership and be accountable.
• Outgoing attitude with a customer-friendly focus
• Experienced Operator or someone eager to learn
• Experience in using a gantry crane.
