Customer Service Officer (Canberra, ACT, AU)
About the role
We are looking for a person who thrives in a busy customer focused environment to join our team at the InfraBuild Steel Centre branch in Canberra.
This position will be responsible for a variety of duties including;
- Answering and responding to incoming calls and email enquiries
- Providing quotations and following through to order placement and successful on-time delivery to the customers
- Liaising with the broader business teams to best service our customers
- Procuring product for customer orders
- Assisting with administrative tasks
About your experience
It’s important that you are a team player with strong problem-solving skills, customer focused and thrive in a busy environment. You will be an enthusiastic and tenacious individual with the ability to think on your feet and build strong relationships with new and repeat business.
You will have:
- Experience in customer service
- Proactive approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to understand your customers business and offer value-based solutions
- Willingness to learn about our industry, business and products
- Proficient computer skills, experience with MS Office Suite and SAP will be highly regarded
- Hours of the role: Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm
