About the role

Our Internal Crane Group currently requires a Crane Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Principal Crane Engineer, You will be required to carry out Periodic Third-Party Inspections (PTPIs) across Australia to assess the maintenance and repairs to the crane.

Responsibilities include;

• Higher level crane inspection
• Detailed report writing based on findings using Microsoft Work and Excel
• Documentation control
• Liaise with customers
• Make sure safety is paramount!
• Partner with the Principal Crane Engineer to complete safety investigations

About your experience

We are on the lookout for a safety and initiative-focused individual with a strong work ethic, eye for detail, and ability to problem solve.

The ideal candidate will have;

• Mechanical trade or Electrical trade with strong Mechanical aptitude (dual trade desirable) 
• Crane experience / qualifications
• Safety as a core value
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understands maintenance strategies
• Ability to identify and implement improvement initiatives
