Condition Monitoring & Lubrication Technical Lead (Newcastle, NSW, AU)
About the role
Reporting to the Asset Reliability Improvement Manager, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Business units’ Condition Monitoring Technicians and their departments to ensure that equipment is monitored and maintained to a high standard, minimising downtime, and maximising productivity.
Preference for role to be based in Rooty Hill with travel requirements to sites at Laverton & Newcastle, but negotiable.
Responsibilities are:

Provide technical expertise and leadership, support and coaching to Business Units in the implementation of condition monitoring and lubrication programs across InfraBuild.

Develop and maintain condition monitoring and lubrication technologies, processes, and procedures, including a technology roadmap for CM technologies

Assist with RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)

Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, availability, and performance, as well as lubrication consumption and control cost

Drive the transition of the current OneCare asset health reporting system, to a more modern, integrated asset health reporting system.

Demonstrate Safety Leadership and uphold safety standards by holding self and others accountable for outcomes, adherence to all Company Policies, Procedures and Practices
About your experience
You are experienced in leading and collaborating with people, are passionate about training, coaching, and mentoring to influence behaviors & actions to achieve business outcomes. Your relationship management with both peers and stakeholders, reflects your excellent communication and influencing skills.
The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 7-10 Years condition monitoring experience with a strong focus on Vibration analysis, experience within Heavy Industry/mining, Manufacturing or similar is preferred.

Working experience with handheld vibration analysers or similar systems
-
Mechanical Trade qualification and/or reliability engineering background
-
Strong analytical and technical skills with high level report writing skills and computer literacy

Demonstrated ability to solve complex maintenance problems and a sound understanding of mechanical processes

Willingness to work outside of office hours & to respond to After Hour call ins (including weekends) as dictated by emergent activities

Ability to prioritise your time across multiple projects and changing priorities, whilst providing high quality work.

A process driven approach to decision making, problem-solving, along with Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills

Systems experience in SAP, Data analysis and Excel
Requirements:

C Class Drivers License
-
VCAT2, with a preference for VCAT3 certification

Level 1 Thermography
-
NDT Certification (DPI, MPI & UT)
-
MLA/MLT Certification (ICML), minimum Level 1

Working experience with SKF Vibration analysis and Condition Monitoring tools and systems
