Commercial Analyst (Glendenning, NSW, AU)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Commercial Analyst within our ARC business. This is a great development opportunity as you’ll join a small and collaborative team working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Lead. This is a hybrid role based at our Glendenning site and will require travel to other branches throughout NSW.

Duties include:

  • Provide management accounting support for the business. Along with demonstrating the core values of safety, customer, and governance.
  • Run daily/weekly/monthly reports to capture business performance.
  • Prepare and process necessary journals for the month end and assist with P&L review and analysis.
  • Partner with the business in understanding their business results and controlling the operational cost.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Ensure relevant governance is in place and adhered to.
  • Support ad hoc projects with analysis and data.

About your experience

You will have acquired industry experience within a commercial finance role, working within a fast-paced high growth environment. You will be detail driven, with the ability to work to strict timeframes and uphold compliance.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Relevant Accountancy qualifications with CPA/CA
  • Experience in management accounting or financial accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and highly adaptable to different accounting systems.
  • Previous experience working in a team environment with set reporting deadlines
  • Diligent with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A high degree of business and commercial acumen
  • A willingness to undertake travel to business sites throughout NSW
  • Previous Manufacturing or construction experience desirable.
