Administration Officer (Payable) (Chipping Norton, NSW, AU)
About the role
Reporting to the National Business Support Manager, you will work at our Chipping Norton site. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the scrap Accounts Payable function for Recycling Australia. You will be the primary contact for traders for scrap payments and achieve results through accurate timely processing of RCTI using the weighbridge system, leading to effective cash planning, and the building of relationships to better understand the health and wealth of customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable reconciliations of scrap payments
- Ensuring payments to all scrap suppliers are executed correctly and payments are made in accordance with the scheduled payment runs
- Managing all adjustments for scrap suppliers nationally
- Liaising with finance team to ensure cashflow targets are met
- Liaising with all impacted parties when a reject payment occurs and rectify
- Maintenance of vendor accounts in SAP and weighbridge
- Provide Customer Service Team Support and managing customer reports as required
- Providing relief reception duties

To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience in a similar role in an office-based environment
- Experience in accounts payable reconciliation process is desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and organised
- Experience in SAP and knowledge in computer systems are beneficial
