Accounts Payable Specialist (St Marys, NSW, AU)
About the role
Reporting to the National Manager Accounts Payable, Infrabuild, we are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable leader to support the Accounts Payable team in all Strategic and Finance activities across all business. This is a chance to work closely with the National Manager AP and grow and develop your experience in a changing and dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Interacting with senior leaders on various finance matters

Provide in-depth analysis of reports and documents present by the business teams

Participating in meetings and providing a summary
-
Analysing and providing solutions to issues by creating a detailed action plan for successful resolution

Involved with Business forecasting and cashflow
-
Processing daily and monthly payment including creating, reviewing, and Approving in SAP
-
Analysis expenses reports and invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
-
Processing AUD & foreign payments and currency variance clearance
-
Assisting with rollout and testing of system or updates to AP systems
-
Ensuring compliance with company policies and ATO Legislation

Assisting internal and External auditors when required

Monthly reporting to be updated and distributed
About your experience
You will be someone who has strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a fast paced, flexible environment. You are also resourceful and have strong communications skills to be able to work effectively in a cross functional team at all levels of the organisation.
Skills and qualifications required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
-
Experience within a large corporate, mining or professional accounting services firm
-
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
-
Proven skills with reporting and presentations to senior management
-
Strong financial and business acumen
-
Experience using SAP
-
Experience with processing multi–Foreign Currencies transactions
