About the role

Reporting to the National Manager Accounts Payable, Infrabuild, we are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable leader to support the Accounts Payable team in all Strategic and Finance activities across all business.  This is a chance to work closely with the National Manager AP and grow and develop your experience in a changing and dynamic environment. 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
 

• Interacting with senior leaders on various finance matters

• Provide in-depth analysis of reports and documents present by the business teams

• Participating in meetings and providing a summary

• Analysing and providing solutions to issues by creating a detailed action plan for successful resolution

• Involved with Business forecasting and cashflow

• Processing daily and monthly payment including creating, reviewing, and Approving in SAP

• Analysis expenses reports and invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment

• Processing AUD & foreign payments and currency variance clearance

• Assisting with rollout and testing of system or updates to AP systems

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and ATO Legislation

• Assisting internal and External auditors when required

• Monthly reporting to be updated and distributed

About your experience

You will be someone who has strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a fast paced, flexible environment.  You are also resourceful and have strong communications skills to be able to work effectively in a cross functional team at all levels of the organisation.

Skills and qualifications required:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting

• Experience within a large corporate, mining or professional accounting services firm

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Proven skills with reporting and presentations to senior management

• Strong financial and business acumen

• Experience using SAP

• Experience with processing multi–Foreign Currencies transactions
