Looking for a challenge that will put your sales skills to the test? Look no further than the role of Key Account Manager at ARC – The Australian Reinforcing Company!

We are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team based at our Strathpine branch.

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, but your focus will be on winning new business and expanding our customer base, as well as providing sales support to our internal sales team and supporting the day to day operation of the branch.

You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies. The main focus for this role is driving new business opportunities in order for the branch to grow. You will be highly motivated and target driven to get results. We are looking for someone with a value based approach to sales. 

About your experience

The ideal candidate will possess a keen willingness to learn and an innate ability to connect with new customers and close sales. You’ll have a genuine passion for listening to our customers’ needs, with empathy being one of your strongest traits. You’ll also be highly motivated and determined to succeed, with a solid work ethic that drives you to exceed targets and achieve success.

In addition to your sales prowess, you’ll possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple support functions across our business. You’ll be a team player at heart, with a strong desire to collaborate with and learn from our existing team of Key Account Managers.

While prior experience in sales to the Building and Construction industry is desirable, it’s not essential. We believe that the right attitude and attributes are key to success in this role. Above all, we’re looking for a candidate with high levels of integrity and a commitment to delivering excellence in everything they do.
